1953 Gibson
1986 G&L L-2000

Really nice playing 1986 G&L L-2000 Acording to Leo Fender, the best bass he ever design. This is a clean L-2000 with a nice neck and excellent tone. The body shows numerous nicks, some paint flaking and several areas where the finish was worn trough. For example the under side of the lower cutaway, the under side in front of the jackplate (see pictures). The under side of the lower cutaway has also some areas where finish is worn trough and nicks from playing. The back upper body to the right side of the G&L plate also has several worn trough spots. The neck and headstock are very clean, the frets looks good. While this is not a mint collector piece is a clean playing 1986 model.

There is a thin line on the back of the neck from below the headstock down to where the neck joins the body, and it's visible in one of the gallery photos. I brought it to my local guitar tech and he said that it wasn't a crack, but rather a seam seperation The bass plays fine, and this doesn't seem to be a problem. For more info, call or email.

1953 Gibson
Marshall Cabinet-Model 8412 lead 4 x 12

The speakers are original, made in England and the cab sounds great. It is clean, but not cosmetically perfect. There are some minor typical knicks here and there in the tolex, but the grill cloth is intact.

1953 Gibson
1997 Gibson Wes Montgomery

This is a very clean, beautiful example of a late 90's Wes L 5. The neck is straight and the guitar is great playing, with that big, warm sound. The knobs, gold hardware, pick guard and bridge are all original and in excellent shape. The back is nicely flamed, as is the neck.

Cosmetic imperfections: While very clean, the guitar was played and there are some very minor wear marks, which are mostly visible in pictures. I'll try to detail what I can.

1-There is minor oxidation on the side of the gold pick up cover.

2- There is one very small nick in the finish, about 2"to the right of the tailpiece and 1/2' above the binding. The blown up picture of the ding makes it appear larger than it really is. There is another minute ding about 1"higher than the pickup, about 1/2" from the neck.

3-The amber finish on the edge of the heel has rubbed through to the white on the top edge ( see picture).

All things considered, this is a wonderful guitar, and while not in mint, un played condition,is exceptionally clean. The original Gibson case is in good shape tough there are some marks and scuff here and there.

1953 Gibson
1966 Fender Super Reverb Amplifier.
The amp has that great vintage sound, and is fairly clean. It’s very original except for the tubes. While it is very clean, it does have some wear. There are several scuffs on the tolex and a very small hole on the lower right side of the grillcloth. But alls things onsidered, it’s a cool example of a great Fender tube amp.

1953 Gibson
Rickenbacker 360 6 string- Jetglow
This is a very clean 2002 Ric 360 6 string. The neck is nice and the guitar plays fine. The original Ric case and tags are included.

I examined the guitar carefully while taking photos, and noticed that there are 2 tiny marks on the back of the dody. One is a short hair line scrape, and the other a very small scuff . These were actually too small to photograph.

I’m also including the Ric-o-sound stereo box, which is worth over $100.

1953 Gibson
Marshall half stack- JCM 900 Head and 1936 cabinet.

A great sounding JCM 900 Head. It's the 100 watt master volume high gain MK III model. No problems with this head. It has a few typical small dings in the tolex, but overall is very clean and plays great. The cabinet is a very clean. It's the 1936 lead 2 x 12 cabinet and together with the jcm head , is a real mean machine.
